To those who were admitted to Cornell University, what were your profile, grades and extracurriculars?
I was admitted to the class of 2019, and I feel like I wasn't actually that special for biomedical engineering

SAT — 2070 if I remember correctly. Pretty average most likely, though no real preparation for it
SAT Subject Tests — 700 in Chem, 770 in Bio-Molecular, 800 in Math Lvl 2. Maybe kind of average as well. A bit better prep for it from books we borrowed from the library, but I had little time to do so
GPA — I think about a 4.5 weighted by AP and honors classes, unweighted maybe a high-ish 3. Weaker in English classes but easily aced four years of high school Spanish and did well in advanced STEM
5 AP classes — 3 on AP physics 2, 4 on AP Calc BC, Computer Science, and US History, and 5 on AP Government on the exams
Extracurriculars — barely involved in the debate team, and did the Columbia University Science Honors Program for my senior year
Essays — talked about what it was like growing up in my immigrant family and how my medical conditions made me want to help others with theirs through BME. No coaching there, only slight editing by my parents
