2012년부터인가 커먼앱(Common Application)에 SAT 슈퍼스코어(Super Score), 즉 각 섹션(Section)별로 가장 높은 점수를 기재할 수 있도록 해주었는데요… 적어도 현재까지는 의견이 엇갈리는 게 사실입니다. 일부는 슈퍼스코어를 대학에서 있는 그대로 반영한다고 주장하는 반면 또 다른 일부는 슈퍼스코어를 입증하기 위해서는 2, 3개의 시험결과를 모두 보내야 하므로 결국에는 각 시험의 모든 섹션별 점수를 대학이 확인하게 되므로 전체적으로 반영할 수 밖에 없다고 주장하죠. 현 시점에서 어느 쪽이 맞다고 단언하기는 어렵지만 한 가지 의문만큼은 명확해집니다. 그럼 SAT는 도대체 몇 번까지 봐도 무관한지인데요… 이는 College Board의 정확한 통계를 가지고 다음 편에서 설명 드리도록 하겠습니다. 다음은 현재 슈퍼스코어를 채택하고 있다고 공표한 주요 대학들입니다^^ (목록에서 대학의 오른쪽 BC Admissions 등을 클릭하시면 바로 해당 대학의 웹싸이트로 이동하실 수 있습니다. 또한 SAT 및/또는 ACT 슈퍼스코어를 채택하고 있는 대학들의 전면 목록을 원하시면 ECSAPP 커뮤니티 ‘무엇이든 물어보세요!’ 게시판에 글을 남겨주세요~~)
